Substance Abuse Therapy Rules
Clients and group discussions are protected by state and federal laws regarding confidentiality and are expected to be followed by all clients.
Cameras must be on at all times during sessions and clients must be visible during the entire session to ensure client confidentiality.
Clients who have their screens off and/or are not visible will be removed from the session to ensure confidentiality and counted as absent.
Clients will be removed from the any session for breaking confidentiality and/or exhibiting inappropriate behavior not conducive to recovery and will be counted as absent.
No smoking/vaping during sessions.
Only those individuals actively enrolled in individual and/or group therapy may attend sessions.
In the event that a client misses three (3) consecutive scheduled individual and/or group sessions (with notice or without), treatment will be terminated and a new assessment will be required to determine appropriateness.
